Hi. I love your videos Alexa, but I think this one could use a little more explaining because the key points, namely "what is the subject of the sentence" and "what is the object of the sentence" is not immediately obvious. Below I explain your first two examples in more detail. In the sentence "The apple that is on the table is green" the subject of the sentence is "the apple", so you use "qui". But in the sentence "The apple that you eat is green" , the apple is no longer the subject of the sentence although it appears first. You could rearrange the sentence to be "You are eating an apple which is green". After you have rearranged the sentence, it is clear that the subject of the sentence is "You" and the object of the sentence is "the apple", so you use "que" as a relative pronoun in French. Looking at the second example. "Take the blue book which is on the table". The subject of the sentence is the blue book. You could determine this by eliminating the relative pronoun "The blue book is on the table. Take it". Whereas in the sentence "The book that I am reading at the moment is called 'Germinal' ", the subject is only clear after you rearrange the sentence to eliminate the relative pronoun. "At the moment I am reading the book called 'Germinal'. ". In the rearranged sentence it is clearer that "I" is the subject and "the book called Germinal" is the object. So you use "que" instead of "qui" because the book is no longer the subject of the sentence (again, although it is the first noun that appears in the sentence". Hope that helps everyone.

Je crois que tu as tort means that i think you are wrong.. But, je crois que alone means : i believe that.. So, je crois que tu as tort means i believe that you are wrong or in other words i think you are wrong. Hope that helps

M’ or me is a reflexive pronoun not a subject pronoun so you should consider m’a as entirely the verb , as after qui always follows a verb :) . Hope this helped :)

"QUI" is used to replace the subject and it is followed by a verb : "The dog is digging a hole" Le chien creuse un trou. "The dog which is digging a hole." Le chien QUI creuse un trou. Subject + QUI + verb + complement "QUE" is used to replace the complement and is followed by the subject : "The dog is grey" Le chien est gris. "The dog that I see is grey" Le chien QUE je vois est gris. Complement + QUE + Subject
