Nearly, only two minor spelling mistakes or typos. née (acute accent) and vingt (n before g). Also you don't need "en" here. So "Je suis née le vingt-trois août." is what you need to say 🙂

The date in itself still remains the same no matter what tense you're using in the rest of the sentence...
