When he said, « pas de familiarité » wasn’t that the familiar (tu) conjugation? If they are co-workers, should he have used the formal « vous »?

La and ici both mean here. When do you to use la or ici?

Là could be used for something which is far away from you whearas ici is for something close to you. If someone is looking for their keys, you could help them by saying ici if the keys are in the same room as you are, in your pocket, close to you or you would use là-bas if you're pointing towards an other room or a drawer far from you, you could also just say là for example "tes clés (your keys) sont là dans la cuisine (are there in the kitchen). Actually it's a bit like here and there.

Dehors would mean to get out of where you are While hors means litteraly get out, in french we say (hors de ma vue) get out of my sight While in context they mean the same thing, dehors is more aggressif, he doesn’t mean go do something else, but to get out of the refrigerator RIGHT! NOW!
