Shalom Daniel. As a Japanese male who has just picked up Hebrew, Your lesson is by far kindest of all! When I visited Israel in 1988 as part of my short trip to the Middle east and Europe, I did not know beans about Hebrew. My dream is to go back to Israel and talk with Israelis in Hebrew.

I literally made flashcards of the colors feminine/masculine before this video came out lol Can't wait to watch it but I'm on lesson 18. Thanks so much for your channel. It has really made it so I can learn Hebrew with structure. My girlfriend is Israelit and I'm American. As a gentile, no one takes my learning Hebrew seriously so this channel is my only Hebrew-speaking friend. Thanks!!! Bless you.

@@DanceswithCoreans Howdy. It's sort of a long story, but the short version is that I want to participate in a miracle even if it is vicariously. Strictly speaking, Hebrew should not exist as a living language spoken at the native level by millions of people, but it does. I got started in late November and will stay at it for two years or so (or longer, we'll have to see). Ultimately, I may shift over to biblical Hebrew since spending enough time in Israel to develop conversational fluency is not realistic. BTW, have you discovered Duolingo and Memrise?
@DanceswithCoreans5 жыл бұрын
@@dicksonphisthur3398 As long you are using my reply to Daniel as a launching point to create a dialogue: Are you saying you don't support all the work Elizer Ben-Yehuda put into developing Modern Hebrew? I just encounter a lot of negativity towards Modern Hebrew existing. I wholeheartedly support its existence. I mean no disrespect to you and your views. Having said all that, I recommend you focusing on Biblical Hebrew considering how grammatically different it is as you might have encountered. Good luck to ya

Hello Daniel, I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos, also I'm thinking about studying Hebrew again, don't you know about a good book to learn modern Hebrew? Most of books are only for Biblical Hebrew, and to be honest I want to be able to speak Hebrew, so to learn ancient Hebrew might not be a good idea. also I would complete my learning with your videos because the way you teach grammar is just perfect, most of channels only teach pointless vocab
