Love your wonderfully clear and informative videos. You're helping me make logical sense of the binyan system at a time when I was feeling hopelessly overwhelmed! Are you planning to upload vids for the remaining binyan, in additional to PAAL?

Hey I just wanted to say I love your lessons and you've taught me a lot. I have a question on how to conjugate strange verbs like להרגיש, as the root is הרגש which is 4 letters. Also להגיד but I believe that can only be used in the infinitive. Thank you in advance and thanks for all the great content

Why is there a built-in puzzle in Hebrew with incomplete roots? The missing letters could have been included in the infinitive forms so why not? It's a riddle to me

Very clear explanation. But how is a verb like ‘’ daber’’ ( to speak) conjugated?
@ThelahBenDan
@ThelahBenDan 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Marcus. Le'daber is a piel verb, see lesson #15 for that conjugation pattern: kzbin.info/aero/PL0vWFn-lQvXXJDa_J58KCUgYIvFNG_xWn

So basicly it's no way to find out unless you go online and look it up. Tho that's something you could do for anything.

If all you have is the infinitive and you don't know any of the conjugations, then yes you would need to look it up.

What does Paal mean?
@bonbonpony
@bonbonpony 5 жыл бұрын
It's the verb for "to make" or "to do". You know, because the verbs are "the doers" ;) they describe what someone does. They simply take the "to do" verb as a pattern (binyan = a building, a structure) for the vowel sounds of other verbs.
