Hey, Enrique! First and foremost, thank you so much for taking the time to share your knowledge. It's truly appreciated. However, if you don't mind me asking, is it possible to use Houdini Apprentice to bake an RBD simulation and export it as a VAT for Unreal Engine 5? I thinking about downloading Houdini Apprentice, but I'm not sure if it will help me learn what I would like to learn. Thanks a lot! :)

Haven't tried VATs in Houdini Apprentice, but I think there's probably some workaround where you create the texture and sander it on a quad, then save that render. Apprentice's max resolution is still limited to 1024 squared so if you need 2k or 4k you might need to stitch multiple textures together? I started a VAT project myself (in Houdini Indie) but haven't been able to finish it yet, lots of other stuff goin on these days so I barely have any time.

Hey bro what is the difference between Houdini and Houdini apprentice?

Apprentice is free :) But also you have a limited resolution in which you can render (I think it is 1024 but I'm not 100% sure), and the save and export formats are specific to each version and cannot be exchanged. Other than those, they have the same functionality, node list, etc.
