That was very informative, Ty! I use mostly mica powders. But I do love the alumilite pigments, especially the brown and Amber. I love your channel! I’d love to see more done with spay paints.

I love these little sets that go more in depth. I hope there is one that discusses the spraying of the alcohol and those effect (maybe my favorite). How do I clean the paddle mixer? Still worried about that. Thanks so much.

What a great video, I would love to see more earth tones or a grey and white with cream color for a countertop

Rhonda this is great. Can do explain a bit about layering and effects achieved - say the difference between paste on top of micas or micas on top of dyes - does the layering change the outcomes based on which will sink or rise? What kind of effects does each type create when layers in a piece - I struggle with which to put first and which is better over top.

How about doing subway tiles then creating a back splash with that! I did this with acrylics before I got introduced to resin. Turned out pretty cool! Love ya Rhonda!!

Learning how each of the pigments work together is very important to get the desired effect. I used all the product types you presented here in my countertop pour. You can see each and the beauty of their chemistry together ❤️. I learned how on RK3 Designs KZbin videos. Thank you Rhonda for sharing your talent with us! ❤

I’ve just found your channel and absolutely LOVE what you achieve! You are gifted! I’m going to continue watching your videos before I attempt doing my early 2000 granite dark countertop! Question I have is on the products.. do you sell these and if so to have it shipped to Canada would I have to pay duty on top? I’m wanting good quality products so I’m willing to purchase but curious as well as if you could tell me which ones I’d need? Thank you ❤

Hi, I enjoyed your video very much. I am working on a uranium lamp. The base has cut glass that is highly polished. I have one part of the base that was chipped, along long time ago. I wondered if I could try and match the color as close as possible, so the eye isn't drawn to it. The color is a yellowish/green with a slight brown streaking. I could email typo pictures as well. Thanks Rhonda!

You may want to get another product besides the epoxy I use. This product is very fluid and isn’t going to stay in the chipped area.

Hey RK3, just checking out your shopping site... are the prices on some of the 'Colour Obsession Paste' correct? Some of them have the 10g and 50g both listed at $8. Shouldn't that be $8 and $18, or are those on sale, Cause $8 for 50G is a pretty good deal!

Hi Rhonda. Yes thank u. Love these shorts. So mixing the mica with alcohol first doesn’t compromise the epoxy or it’s curing?

Hi Rhonda! What’s your take on using acrylic paint as a colorant? Been reading a 10 to 1 epoxy to paint ratio is recommended- thoughts? Thank you! Love your channel you and Kenny rock!
@RK3Designs
@RK3Designs Жыл бұрын
It can be done but there’s a very fine line and when you’re epoxy will get very stringy. Now days with so many colorants made specifically for epoxy, I feel I would use acrylic as my last option. JMO.
