Hello Ellie handcrafted jewelry was wondering if you could share with me how you straighten square wire get all the bumps out ?
@andreathrasher58792 ай бұрын
I’d love to know as well!!! I have NEVER gotten my square wires to look like that!!!!

I use nylon jaw pliers to straighten mine.

Beautiful pumpkin pendant, if I can find a suitable stone I’d like to try making this one. I know I’ve got some round stones x❤

I love it. What is your average time spent on each pumpkin?
@ellieshandcrafted2 ай бұрын
Thanks! Once I got familiar with the pattern, it takes me about an hour.

Ellie I thought the at the beginning of this video the weave you were doing to go round the cabochon was called a Soumak Weave with a securing element not a flame weave???? Also the first pendant is beautiful but the oxidised one is gorgeous, I love oxidised metal
@ellieshandcraftedАй бұрын
Though it looks similar, this is definitely a version of the Flame weave. Here's a link to a lovely lady that does the Soumak Weave (kzbin.info/www/bejne/fKrXY3qbpLaJmtU). I do sometimes get confused which is which, since there are soo many out there.. lol. So, I do appreciate correction!! :) Thanks so much! I really love the oxidized wire as well!

How do you know how much base wire to cut depending on the size of your stone?
@ellieshandcraftedАй бұрын
I would measure the distance around your stone, then add about 8 inches to that measurement. Hope that helps!
