Wire Wrapping Tutorial- Cute Coppernite Halloween Bubbling Cauldron Pendant

This is my first time making a wire wrapped bubbling cauldron and I think it turned out really cute! I hope you enjoy this video watching me come up with it on the fly.

Round Nose Pliers-Swanstrom
Chain Nose Pliers-Swanstrom
Flat Nose Pliers-Swanstrom
Flush Cutters- Swanstrom

👀 Materials Used:
18x30mm Coppernite Cabochon from Maya Crystals
18 Gauge Square Dead Soft Copper Wire
16 Gauge Half Round Dead Soft Copper Wire (18 Gauge would be fine)
14 Gauge Half Round Dead Soft Copper Wire (for lip)
Various sized Copper Beads that fit on my 18 gauge wire

I attempted making your wonderful cauldron. I have to say you make it look so easy….and its really not! I’ve never done wire-wrapping before. So my question is that I’d get myself in places where it was hard to get in and out of and consequently my wire is scratched and twisted in places because of it. Is there anything I can do to smooth it out?

That’s why I like using bare wire! You can file it, sand it, buff it to get the nicks out! I started out just using a dremel!
