Don't forget classical vibrato, super effective on fretless and subtle on fretted.

Another one covers this for bass. I love it. I use vibrato all the time in my bass lines and melodies. It makes the instrument sing.

Would the slide not count as a trill or vice versa with a trill being another method to get some vibrato? Just being a pedantic asshole here but genuinely curious
