Great video! with practice, a drone can emulate cinematic camera and dolly moves; for example, the Mavic has "Point of Interest" mode, where drone flies in a perfect circle around a subject. We've found that flying near large metal buildings causes interference; the Mavic lost control, rotated vertically, then accelerated for 20' slamming into a building. On a recent shoot, in 115 degree temperatures, the Mavic & Phantom 4 Pro would not start up; even our phones (for monitoring) kept shutting down; we waited in the shade for temps to cool to 100, then everything worked normally.

This is a really great video to watch. Darious not only gave really good information on the subject. But unlike others I have watched on this, he pointed out to be careful to not hurt anyone. Others, "so you don't damage your..." Just shows what is the real focus and not the normal selfish. Enjoyed the humor and easy flow. When you introduced the app that shows restricted airspace and showed the first view of the map, it was like directly a map of the area around my house. Like my house was almost dead center. Haha. With that being said, I also was able to recognize alot of the areas in which you flew. Well at least I think I did. Haha. Im going to say perhaps East Tucson? At any rate, if your ever near or in East Tucson and need anything, hit me up. Im always around, can fix anything and willing to help when people need it. Not many people are anymore, it seems like. Anyways. Good video. Very informative, no unnecessary nonsense and no terrible music with no talking and just subtitles, very entertaining to keep the viewer/learner engaged in paying attention to what your saying, which helps to retain said information. I was surprised when the video finished, because it didnt seem like 7-8 minutes since I was engaged and paying attention. Good job

*me commenting on a 1 year old comment like it matters lol* it definitely taught me something, at least to the depth that it is a starting point for learning. I will admit, at the time of writing this comment I have never operated a drone or even seen one operated in front of me. But I’d say these tips gave warnings about the most common mistakes made by amateur flyers, and when he mentioned “yaw” and I had no idea what that meant it gave me a clear goal for something I needed to learn before purchasing a drone for myself. I’d say this video did exactly what it was supposed to do: act as a starting point for common amateur mistakes and a hint that if you don’t understand the terminology, you are not ready.

Bought a drone mavic pro watched u tube as i wanted some idea before firing it up. went to local park and had it up and running , but the a dog chased it and i thought it would get tired and stop, but no, battery low and I tried to land but the mutt was jumping so had to think of another option. Landed on a pergola roof in the end ,dog would not quit and owner was not able or willing to leash said mutt. Was lucky, so you never know you can't always plan for everything.

I thought of what might be an easier way to get you're drone back when you get disoriented as to which way it's facing. Just switch it into the headless mode and then you can pull the stick back and it should come back towards you no matter where the front is facing.
