Amazing! For some reason blackened is easier for me than creeping death. I must be doing something wrong
@AllAboutMetallicaGuitar8 ай бұрын
not necessarily I've had some riffs feel easier to me than they did to others and easier riffs that for some reason took me a long time to figure out, it happens 😂 Thank you so much tho!

Not that strange Snow (He Oh) is one of the easiest RHCP songs for me, while technically being one if not their most challenging. It`s down to how well you can mesmerize and execute the pattern of a song.

I find blackened to be extremely hard. Creeping death was fairly easy for me

That middle Seek and Festroy riff is actually faster than Creeping Death. I would keep it for later.

Great video, only thing is that Through the Never riff is not 024 013 its 024 023 you play open and 2 on the e string only.

Could you do a video about the warmups you do before downpicking?
@MrHaggyy8 ай бұрын
😅 (down)picking but slower? I play a view song I like that doesn`t challenge me anymore. Then some challenging stuff, and at the end, some stuff might become easy warmup stuff. That`s also how most stage guitarists train. The only difference is that their sessions are longer than the shows to build stamina and most stuff will be from the setlist.

What pick are you using to downpick? Im using the pick which is 1.5 Millimeters big. Does it make a difference when i downpick with it?
@AllAboutMetallicaGuitar8 ай бұрын
I use a 1.3mm pick but the difference is personal preference for sure. I find it a bit harder with soft picks tho!

Next video: Slow left hand?, Learn these Megadeth riffs! edit: didn't realize the channel is Metallica centered, so how about Kirk Hammett licks to get into soloing :D?
