YOU are soooooooooooooo professional ,it is pleasure to watch every VIDEO you show. The profession , Milliner doesn't almost exist. My mother was a a Milliner in Europe.I don't have a knowledge , i am VERY HAPPY to see your Videos and try to make some hats .Thank you Kamilla Canada Windsor On

What a lovely comment to start my day with Kamilla! The profession has changed and hasn't changed as well. There are some incredible creative milliners in the world and still a few companies selling blocks and supplies. I would have loved to have met your mom! I bet she could have taught me lots about trimming and about blocks! Thanks for taking the time to leave this lovely comment! Tori

❤Dear Tori, Many thanks for sharing this pattern. I have a friend who needs this very hat. She is struggling with hair loss due to cancer treatments 😢. This is a perfect “fit” for our Canadian winters. ❤

Can you recommend a hat pattern that would work with homespun fabric and flannel? I have about big supply of homespun that I’m looking for a use for.

Tori and all of the Mad Cap Team, THANK YOU for posting these tutorials. They're very helpful and easy to follow. I wanted to make some hats for my friend who is going through chemo and found your site. She's not comfortable wearing turbans or scarves so I really appreciate that you have so many different styles available. I made my first "practice" Pillbox Beanie for my 6 year old granddaughter who LOVED it! She was especially excited about detachable the fleece flower. Now I'm hooked on making more!! I'll attempt to make the Slouchy Fashion cap later today. Thanks for the option to purchase the pattern. (P.S. This is my son's user name. I'm not sure how I got linked to his acct. LOL!) - Mary G

I would line the circle on the top of the hat so the seam is hidden rather than just surging it. Gives a more professional finish.
