instead of giving pressure using palm... keep beating the dough with rolling pin for few seconds... by doing this not only u get soft dough/ chapathi.. t 'll also give me some stress relief 😅

First of all thank you so much . I recently decided to be a home-maker and I wanted to be make soft chapathis right from day 1. I tried every other methods it just didn’t work for me . good. however if the dough is left for 3 hrs or so, it kind of ferments and the rotis become super soft.. and ofcourse more water is needed for roti dough compared to poori dough.

Even simpler and better way is to make dough with hot water with the help of spatula so that the dough becomes partially cooked, no need to wait for anything

No, fulkas can also be made on tava. Good for health. Direct gas flame results in cancer like issues.
