Finally got to work this into my unscheduled schedule, (I try to be organized, but things just happen when I should be doing something else), A lot of good content in here, I watched you do something and when your painting started to come together, I had to go back and watch you do it again, so glad this is on a video!! I also did not know you can buy refills for the scratch pens, I've got about 5 of them from a lot purchase on Ebay! I use them way too much!
@TheAIRspace4 жыл бұрын
i cant say i wear a lot of those out. But definitely a refill lasts a really long time in comparison to one set. As for unscheduled schedule thats my entire life right now! Thanks David!

Great tutorial Bill can’t wait for the rest just what I was looking for. Thanks so much for sharing your wisdom. What airbrush and needle are you using for this fine work on the eyes? Thanks again for posting this. God bless.
@TheAIRspace4 жыл бұрын
Hmmm well I think I used my gsi Creos ps 270 with a .2 but I also used my iwata eclipse on it. At this point I use those two airbrushes all the time and the others sit.

Beautiful painting. Great tutorial so far. Looking forward to the rest. One question, you mentioned you put moss green in cup then sprayed it out and added white..I'm a little confused by that..was that to just add the small amount of moss green lingering around to tint the white or am I missing something? Thanks
@TheAIRspace4 жыл бұрын
Yes that was to tint the white, it’s an easy way to not use a lot of paint to mix. Would probably have been 7 8 drops of white and one of moss green otherwise. Sometimes I’ll do the reverse as well, to cap a color. It leaves just enough paint in the dirty reservoir to alter things a little bit. Straight moss green would have been far too potent.

@@TheAIRspace cool, not a bad idea. Something that never occurred to me. Thanks.

curious, would putting in the dark around the eyes firs,t help with the contrast problem due to all the white in the beginning?
@TheAIRspace4 жыл бұрын
Yes it would for your eyes, However you would have to be careful around it where I am using opaques. Because the shift in color. Going light to dark when working with opaques minimizes my need to worry about any overspray onto the darker portion. While I could mask it, or just be more careful that's extra time. And time is a valuable resource for me. : )

Sound was a big issue for me when i made this video. I am definitely aware of it. I have newer videos that mostly have solved that issue. Thank you!
