Read the game rules...confused. Watch the official how to video with a raccoon...amused, but still confused. Tried to watch a walkthrough video of other people playing... almost didn’t want to play anymore. Found this and in 10 minutes everything is clear so I can explain to the kids! Thanks.

Follow the same process except watched this and STILL confused. I mean, I mostly get it but some parts seem unneccesarily obtuse to my brain, like the canteens. Maybe this game just isn't clicking with me, but for now it is going back on the shelf. Lots of other new games to learn and play that actually make sense :)

@4:30 Slight clarification 12 tokens max at the END of your turn. @6:00 the new v1.1 Rules allow you to use Wildlife to buy Gear so it gets it into play more to make gameplay more interesting imo. The Lodge tile is a bit different. You can exchange one token instead of two (excluding wildlife; the bat is my favorite) or do it a second time which can allow you to use the season effects to more effect. That's the box at retail now. It has a small 1.1 on the back of the box. It doesn't answer the FAQ's Does a bear... and If a tree falls in the woods does it make a noise.

I’m a bit confused on the turn system, 3:55 she says to move it to the right. Does the person just keep moving it to the right until they meet the trail end? Because if people can just choose where their player goes then theoretically someone could finish the game as little as one turn. I’m a bit lost
