Definitely ü and ö are very common letters/sounds in Turkish. However German r and Turkish r are not alike at all and German r could be very challenging for Turks learning/speaking German.

"Die Ärztin ist sehr nett." Wie klingt dies Satz, wenn wir alle äe wechseln? So: "Die Erztin ist sähr nätt." Bitte versuchen diese Buchstaben mit eigenem Klang zu aussagen. Ich finde kein Unterschied zwischen diese Sätze. Können Sie mehr über ä-e erzählen?

I'm in the same situation... According to (almighty) Wikipedia, the difference between "ä" and *short* "e" is not that important and even many native speakers can't tell them apart by just the sound, unless they know the spelling. This is not the case for long "e", such as in "wh *e* rend" or "w *e* sen", those "e" sounds are longer and slightly closer to the sound of "ie" in German. As a learner, one trick I heard about how to pronounce "ä" is to shape your mouth like it's an "a" but pronounce an "e". You can see in the video Jacklyn pronounces "ä" with a more OPEN mouth than "e", in the sentence you mention. As for listening, I think it's better to depend on context (theme, meaning of the phrase and surrounding words), than to try to hear a distinction by sound between "ä" and *short* "e". Long "e" is easy to spot. And finally, this does not apply to "ö" and "ü" as those are also easy to distinguish by sound.

@@afz902k "As a learner, one trick I heard about how to pronounce "ä" is to shape your mouth like it's an "a" but pronounce an "e". " Very appreciate for this technique. On the phone I couldn't pronounce my name, which has e sound. And it makes me crazy. But your method can explain everything. But I am still suspicious about german writing style and found about it two articles, which shows that German language need big "Rechtschreibreform". Not like just changing ß to ss. www.praxis-foerderdiagnostik.de/so-analysieren-sie-rechtschreibfehler-systematisch/ maritagruebl.de/buchstaben/ blog.zeit.de/mathe/allgemein/zahlen-sprechweise-deutsch-englisch/
