Dont base align. Just man the hook zone defender on the weak side slot. The mid third will generally drift towards the wide side vs 2x2 sets

Down at the goal line, I’ve been subbing in defensive ends for my olb’s out of the 3-4 when I’m sure they are going to run. It’s like running a goal line defense but much more versatile. I get a lot more sheds as well because the lineman can handle blocks from TE’s much better than most olb’s.

Can someone help me my quarter flats in cover 4 palms dont go to the flat they dont jam anyone they dont go anything in 2x2 sets the nust drop back a couple yards and stand there.. is it because im running out of base align does it have to be default? I put all my zone drops back to default and they still just stand there in 2x2 sets in 3x1 they do what they are supposed to do

Do you have to put the seam or qtr flat guys directly over the inside receivers for them to man the seam receievers in the seam flats or jam and pass off the seam receivers in qtr flats ????? I dont notice them doing it but i run out of base so they arent always directly over

The hook matching the rb flat route is an actual “mable” check for cover 3 match vs flood concepts. Should also work against spread out trips (3x1) sets but not sure if EA included that in the game.

3 Match is played vs 2x2.. The flood concept has to do with when the RB is out of the backfield right now on say an immediate swing, arrow, wheel. When we get this from the RB we are saying the #3 is fast. If he is not “fast” he is in the down meaning he blocked, check released, or even released to the opposite side of his initial alignment When the RB is fast out the backfield thats when we will play “flood coverage” where the strong side hook will push to the curl and relate to the final #2, the 2 Seam Player will push strait to the flat and relate to the final #1, the backside hook will push toward the hole with rules of #3 up/back - take #3 through The flood side corner will go from MOD #1 to Midpoint rules on the strong side The backside Corner and 2 Seam player will stay with their pre snap Match rules of Mod #1 and #2 Seam rules If the RB is IN THE DOWN… The hook defenders will relate to the final #3 or Robot to the low hole if away from final #3 3 Match SUCKS in Madden. Its simply incorrect ALWAYS

I trick people with cover 3 one high safety. I come out in cover 3 sky out of the big nickle over G then I put the safties into deep half and the outside corners in cloud flats or soft squats

@@mikey122587 I don't use zone drops people think it's cover 3 and they do a cover 3 beater and it's really cover 2 it just look like cover 3 one high safety so they throw picks. I put the 2 corners into could flats or soft squats I put one safety into a deep half and I put the slot Corner into a deep half but the other safety stays in his inside third

3 Match us only played vs 2x2 and this goes way back to Sabans days in Cleveland. The Seattle Legions Of Boom ran their own thing but it was not 3 Match despite it not being spot drop C3 Just sayin
