Beautiful selections and arrangements. How do you take care of this in the long run when the plants elongate or get too crowded?

I instruct my friend to enjoy them indoors for 2-3 weeks while some cuttings are growing roots. Then bring it outside and slowly acclimate to the full sun. Otherwise, she can replant them per species and she can grow more of it. They are slow growers. It will take several months before they outgrow the pot.

Use other non-organic soil amendments like lava rocks, pebbles, poultry grit. Your purpose is to make the soil more porous and allow water to drain through.

Thank you, Theresa! So beautiful! Just wondering how long do you keep those succulents in plastic pots? Because I learnt from others that plastic pots are not good for succulents.

Until they are fully rooted. 3-6 months depending if I have to use them for projects. These are the same pots nurseries use when the sell their succulents. Plastic is the least preferred container but it doesn’t mean you can’t use them. They don’t wick moisture away from the soil like the terra-cotta but if you know how to water succulents, these are not an issue.
