Learn how to subtract polynomials

👉 Learn how to subtract polynomials. To subtract polynomials, we first simplify the polynomials by removing all brackets. Then, we combine like terms. Like terms are terms that share the same base and power for each variable. When you have identified the like terms, we then apply the required operation, in this case, subtraction, to the coefficients. The coefficients of each term are the numbers multiplied to the variables.

Amazing! I myself take my academics very seriously but now algebra have been introduced to me. I am struggling, even if we are just learning the basics. I recenly got my grades and I wasn't satisfied with my grade in math. So now its second term. I now know what to improve on. What makes it worser is that I was absent for one day because of fatigue and so I am behind my lessons. Now tomorrow I will be taking a CSW which is not graded but is recorded but I wanna get perfect because I may have a chance of getting plus points in my summative test which is graded. Ehem* Ehem* When subtracting integers we must: KEEP the subtrahend. CHANGE the minuend into negative if the minuend is positive; change the minuend into positive if the minuend is negative. And OPPOSITE of the operation. Ex: -7 - (-9) -7 + 9 ----- -2
