The Sweet Sixteen from Handi Quilter is a lovely sitdown longarm machine. It's stationary so you move the quilt around over the smooth surface. Speed can be limited in manual mode. Team the Sweet Sixteen with the new in 2020 InSight Table which has two sensors which help you create even stitches effortlessly.
Liz from Pinhole Quilting discusses the InSight Table. If you have a machine with a CPOD board of 2.0 or higher you can update the software or, if it's a TruStitch Ready machine (November 2014 or older) your machine will work without any changes.
Your machine can be updated by Pinhole Quilting when your machine is serviced for an additional cost. After upgrading the machine, you will be able to use basting stitch, low bobbin alaram and save your favourite presets on the front screen. The only feature that you won't have is the tension readout (which requires a different board and a tension assembly with a board attached).
We really love how the Sweet Sixteen works with the stitch regulation on the InSight table. Within moments of using it, getting an even stitch is very intuitive and natural.
