I'm having a difficult time transitioning from beginner lessons which i've mostly covered, to intermediate/conversational which feel way over my head. This, however, is an excellent stepping stone. The real life fast conversation, combined with the slow breakdown is incredibly helpful. Excellent presentation of graphics/audio as well. Thank you! 谢谢你

just want to say thanks. these intermediate lessons are super useful with the detailed pinyin and chinese characters. its good to hear everyday language, the little differences to that in the classroom can be very confusing to the learner. keep them coming!!

I like listening to little kids because they use simple words and can easily be understood. Alas I fear I will end up talking like a little girl. :)

Waoh! Guys be much more enthusiastic in your comment! This is an incredibly good lesson! Honestly, I have been viewing some of the free lessons from Yang Yang as she is so motivated. And since she started, there has been a continuous incremental improvement on the professionalism. This lesson is the very best one, reminding of previous lessons, reffering to notes, etc... Ok...sorry, it is not the style to write such a long comment...but the result is I believe I am going to subscribe over the week-end!

We have some sample lessons from the courses on YoyoChinese.com here on KZbin. The best way to learn pinyin and tones is to go through Level 1 of the Beginner Conversational Course. I explain how to make these sounds in the video lessons, and then you can practice with the audio reviews, flashcards, and quizzes.

I am learning so much from this channel for free that I feel guilty not paying for it. I do have to ask a question regarding the dialogue between the interviewer and the little girl on the ice. Did the interviewer actually say xiao pengyou or did she call her by her name Xiao Wen. I can’t detect or hear xiao pengyou. I could be wrong

We're glad you are enjoying learning with us! She is saying “小朋友 (xiǎo péng yǒu)" - but she definitely runs over it pretty quickly. For a child hearing this though, it would be pretty clear that she's saying this and not something else. The videos on our channel are just samples from our structured courses. If you like them, and want to follow our program in the right order, there are over 1000+ lessons on our website. If you like the sample lessons here on our KZbin channel, you can try the first 20 lessons of the Beginner Conversational Course on our website for free to see if you want to study with us.
