hello! my grandmother was italian (she couldn’t speak it very well) and she loved to travel. positano, italy was her favorite place to go! she was always telling me that when i was older she would take me there. i often saw her using an italian dictionary while talking to her brother on the phone. she was my favorite person, and she’s gone. after a year of grief, i decided that i wanted to keep her spirit alive. so, i’m starting to learn italian. thank you

Luca & Marina, thank you for these videos, me and my wife started learning with them as we are planning to move to Italy in a year and a half. She has no prior knowledge of the Italian language, I have about a year of studying behind me when I was 12(and I can also speak 3 languages so getting the grasp and logic of the language is much easier for me) and these bite sized lessons are great, a lot of things I forgot over the years are coming back and it’s really helpful for my wife as well that I have some, although minimal knowledge. I need your help, I read that is In Italian the 2nd to last syllable is by default most usually prolonged or stress like Italiano (it-ta-li-A-no) or legère(lay-GEH-ray) or Nicolo. It recently learnt that the placement of accent marks(diacritical) marks can affect the rhythm (stress/accent) of the word, like Itáliano(i-tA-li-a-no) or lègere (lÈH-gay-ray) or Nícolo (NÍ-co-lo). The word I am trying to understand is a name , if Perugini= (pe-ru-GI-ni), would this be correct= Pèrugini( PEH-ru-gi-ni)

I absolutely love these videos!!! I really enjoy how the videos are nice and short, straight to the point. MY only suggestion would be to review the previous lesson in the beginning of the next lesson, but this is why I bought the workbook! It's Sunday, I just paid for the work book which was extremely cheap and a great deal! I can't figure out how to locate the workbook, but I am going to try to access it next week because it might take a while for the payment to go through?

hi from serbia :) thank you for teaching us italian, i like when teacher speaks loud and clear like you do, its a lot easier that way to learn my mom and i watched italian series for years, we both love italian language very much and we think its a very beautiful one i like a lot things from italia, cars, movies, series, cloth, food, filippo inzaghi is my favorite football player, italian artists, for italian women i personally think that they are the most mature in the whole europe, i also watched italian cartoons as a little but right now i am reading a lot of italian comics, especially dylan dog, that is one of a kind comic book, full of deep life lessons and moments which force you to realize something important about life that you have been blind to it, unfortunately in my country only few can truly understand what artist wanted to say in dylan dog so for a much better experience i am gonna learn and then read these comics on italian

Me lo sono ritrovato nella mia home page, lol, tutto sommato è molto semplice da come spieghi il video, apprezzo molto che tu ti sia messo a disposizione per insegnare una lingua che a prima impressione per chi la parla già può risultare facile, ma per chi è in una situazione di dover imparare velocemente e bene l'italiano e soprattutto di un'altra nazionalità può risultare abbastanza difficile. Lo stesso vale per me quando decisi di studiare Coreano e inglese, inizialmente ci furono moltissime complicazioni, ma con lo studio e con lo sforzo riuscii finalmente nel mio intento. Quindi sostanzialmente trovo il modo in cui stai offrendo agli altri di imparare una nuova lingua e COSA PIÙ IMPORTANTE IN MODO GRATUITO sia fantastico. ❤️🇮🇹🌺
