**DISCLAIMER**
These lessons are based from the Minna No Nihongo Textbook (1st edition), which I chose because I’m familiar with it. But even if you don’t have the textbook, you can still follow along the lessons by just watching the video.
I'm not a native Japanese speaker nor am I a Japanese language teacher. I'm currently living in Japan and I use Japanese at work and daily life. I’m sharing what I’ve learned from my language school and through self-study. I’ve passed the JLPT N3 exam and am planning to take the JLPT N2 test in the future. So if you find any mistakes, feel free to let know so that we can all learn together. Thank you!

**AMAZON LINKS**
I cannot find the links for first edition, but I found the links for the latest edition of the textbooks which are pretty much the same as the first edition:

Hello, why do some phrases such as I'm hungry, I'm thirsty, It's raining use the past tense (mashita) verb form even though it is not past tense?
@NihonGoal
@NihonGoal 2 жыл бұрын
In certain Japanese expressions, that past tense (V-ta) verbs can be used to express current conditions. It's the same for "I'm tired" = "Tsukaremashita" and so on. But that doesn't mean that it's past tense, they just have the same form.

Konbanwa sensei I have one doubt. When can we use “e” and “Ni” particles .particularly when use “come and go” actions
@xXSillyGooseXx
@xXSillyGooseXx 4 жыл бұрын
に is always used with time, never へ. I had the same question and they sort of answered on Duolingo: “に focuses on the journey and destination of going somewhere, but へ focuses more on the process of going. But don’t stress too much here. In daily like, they’re basically interchangeable.”
@MElroy97
@MElroy97 3 жыл бұрын
@@xXSillyGooseXx I think what @sreenivasulu mean, the use of particle に and へ to show place... に is often used as existence... That is why it always paired with います or あります (if it is used with あげます・もらいます, the particle に is not used as to show place) へ is often used as destination... That is why it always paired with いきます, きます, or かえります... Bonus: で is often used as the place of where the action takes place... So it paired with any moving/action* verb like たべます, べんきょうします, and so on... *unmoving verb is like わかります, etc That's what i know so far... I'm still learning chapter 13... so i don't know if there are any other uses or examples... Sorry for my bad english as well... A little spoiler: What I know from someone that later on we will use へ to go to (destination) に to go inside (ex: school admission as a new student, go inside the bus) で at を to go out/exit (ex: graduation, exit the bus) がんばって!!!
