So uhhh, heres what happened. I was a beginner, people who is absolutely new. And with that i had to practice this a hundred times to finally play it perfectly, the problem is its stuck in my brain, the muscle memory of "oh what fun it is" is stuck in my brain. This is too good of a tutorial!

Great question. I didn't go over this in the lesson but the typical rule is you pick in the direction you're moving. So if you're moving down a string you pick down if you're moving up a string you pick up. If you're staying on the same string you alternate your picking down up down up.
