aww I'm sad to not get the full reaction anymore, but I totally understand your reasons and I hope you only keep growing!! I know you're not asking but if I may give some feedback: I think you should still do the greeting at the begining explaining who you are, what you do, asking people to like and subscribe if they're watching on yt, letting people know these are just highlights from the streams you do regularly and the full thing can be found on patreon, etc. bc otherwise the start feels so sudden and I feel so disconnected as a viewer. also the sudden cuts threw me off at first until I read the whole title and understood these were only highlights lol so I do think it would be helpful specially for ppl who might find your channel through one of these. it will only take a few minutes and you can just have a pre-recorded intro that you can quickly add to all youtube videos :) I'm sorry if I'm all over the place, english isn't my first language and I feel like I lack the words to explain myself and do it an a way that's respectful and polite too, sorryyy!! but I just wanted to say that. you can just ignore this of course it's just my opinion and I'm just 1 viewer lol anyways I wish you all the success and I'm always thankful for your work and always looking forward to more reactions from you both! it's so fun to see you laugh and to learn from you, so thank you. stay happy and healthyyy!!♥

they explained in previous videos the way they used to do things would not have been bearable long term bc they were making almost no money at all for a lot of time and effort invested bc of all the copyrights issues. Cutting videos short here and using Patreon means they can keep going and doing more, it may feel like less content right now but long term it means they can keep doing it so we should support them! Also if you can catch their twitch streams, you'll still have the full reaction

Hi, thank you for your comment! In the past I would have wholeheartedly agreed with you. But now that I make these videos, I understand why creators do this. We’ve spent hours creating our stream setup and invested hundreds, maybe thousands of $ of personal funds into technology and subscriptions necessary to run everything. We use my years of teaching knowledge and educational techniques to teach language classes for 4+ hours of our week (which doesn’t include setup time). Before Patreon everything we made from KZbin would go to the original video owners, which is fair as it’s their video. But when we made non-copyrighted vlogs, like our travel vlogs, the views were so low that we could only make a couple cents, despite the over 40 hours of work put into each video. In the end we do this because we love it, not just for the money. But for the amount of funds and work we’ve put in to this the last 3+ years, it’s been hard for me to not be able to contribute barely anything to my family financially. These are the reasons why we made this decision. The free content is still visible for anyone without our reaction, and I’m working hard on these edits so the funniest & most educational stream moments are still visible for all. I hope this clears up some things & thank you for enjoying our content. -Anna

They are more than just a reaction channel. They teach korean alongside too, explain all the puns, you get to know about the cultural references and backstories etc. So, they have their input in the content too!

I understand where you're coming from. But Sean and Anna aren't just reactors. They also educate about the Korean language and culture. I wouldn't realize how many subtle jokes and puns in GoSe flew over my head if it weren't for their explanations. I would even say their content can be sort of an informal but very helpful supplementary material for Korean learners. I think it's quite fair for them to be compensated for this. Besides, they still do livestreams on Twitch and they usually announce their livestream schedule days prior, as well as what content they're reacting to. If people are able to join on Twitch on that schedule, they can still catch the full reactions in real time for free.
