1st card - fivediamonds = 12 | /6 = 0 left over which means how many places the card moves in the direction of top of the deck 2nd card - threediamonds = 13 | /6 = 1 left over which means how many places the card moves in the direction of top of the deck 3rd card - sixclubs = 8 | /6 = 2 left over which means how many places the card moves in the direction of top of the deck 4th card - tenhearts = 9 | /6 = 3 left over which means how many places the card moves in the direction of top of the deck 5th card - eightclubs = 10 | /6 = 4 left over which means how many places the card moves in the direction of top of the deck 6th card - queenhearts = 11 | /6 = 5 left over which means how many places the card moves in the direction of top of the deck It's pretty simple. Any of the card will always end on the top if you do the "spelling shuffle". Basically, you can switch bunch of cards. E.G. > Qh with 3h or 6c with Ac or 10h with 9c and do the trick in the same way with few different cards..

It requires a few card tricks like palming the six cards from your pocket and putting it on the deck when you take the deck from them without them noticing. Or any other trick with that concept keeping the deck in order

whenever i spell out the cards/count them out, it never works...where are you supposed to put the card before you start counting? because I've tried the top and bottom, and then in a random place, and it never works...I counted exactly like you did

Mr Stevie123 you could flip the top few cards over and put them on the bottom somehow (without them seeing), then after you count out the number, move your hands around and misdirect them and turn the deck over so their card is face down on the top.

Hallo :) you can pick other cards in different language. The trick is that when you spell the cards it count : 12, 13, 8, 9, 10 and 11 letters (in this order) I did it in french for exemple : QUATRE TREFLE (6+6=12 letters) works even you count 6 letters but the trick should be revealed because you make a simple turn to your first card QUATRE CARREAU (6+7=13 letters) works even you count 7 letters DIX PIQUE (3+5=8 letters) HUIT COEUR (4+5=9 letters) ROI CARREAU (3+7=10 letters) TROIS TREFLE (5+6=11 letters) Good mathematic trick ;)

No it don't ! you can pick other cards in different language. It's modulo arithmetic. As long as the remainder works out so that the card is on the top for all the cards you use, I imagine there are many card combinations that work.

For those saying it doesn't work; the deck has to be in a specific order. That order is 5 of Diamonds, 3 of diamonds, 6 of clubs, 10 of hearts, 8 of clubs, queen of hearts. So you will put 5 on the bottom and so forth so that when you deal them the 6 cards it will be in that order in their hand and work fine!:)

It works great as long as the person drawing the top six cards fans them in order. If any card taken from the top six is misplaced/dropped and put back/etc. it won't work, so keep an eye on how they draw them.

Just a suggestion.... When i do this trick instead of keeping it in my pocket i discretley flip the bottom half of the deck over an then deal the cards from there then i flip the cards over on the final card and deal the top on..i feel like its better because it happens right in front of them

an easier way of doing it is when you know that their card is on top, you take the top card and bottom card when you first start shuffling, keeping their card on top, then go on from the pocket thing. hope this helped :)

What you are supposed to do is control the cards. When you are shuffling you have to try to keep the 6 cards on top
