What is dekat used for in the second question?

He sat there is translated as 'dua duduk sana'. Where is past tense in that translation? Isn t dah missing?

without proper context, "Dia duduk sana" can be at present, future or past. Just a simplified way of speaking without relating to any timeline. "Dia dah duduk sana" actually mean "He/She had sat there". more description in our vid: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gIi5YZZ3g5WbpJI
