This is the technique that I use to open my middle split. If you are totally new to this type of stretches then do jumping jacks for 2 mints continue, then follow this Practice; Practice regularly for 15 days. Just never forget o engage your breath with each movement and during holding the final position just keep your muscle relax with each inhalation.
Splits help to Opens the Hip Flexors, Deepens Body Awareness, Develops Perseverance, Helps Develop Patience in the Practice. Practicing the splits is great for your joint health, flexibility, and balance, these qualities become more and more important as we age.
Now, let us move to the age factors,
It is important to know should be Practice; Practice or not when we come to age,
I will strongly say yes, who are willing to learn. Yes, if you have not practiced any type of sketches since childhood, it's going to be challenging for you but not Impossible. It should be noted you need to go with your limits and day by day practice push it above to reach your goals.
Now, come to know what to do post-practice is during any muscle sourness.
Massage your thighs, knees, and waist well with a good amount of oil.
Which oils would be best for massage?
Actually, it depends upon the season also because of the changes in the environment as well in the body too.
Choose a simple carrier oil like castor, sesame, or coconut oil to enjoy a relaxing massage. Coconut oil has cooling properties and is ideal for use in the hotter months as well as by individuals with excess heat in their bodies. Sesame oil, on the other hand, has warming properties and is perfect for use during the colder months as well as by individuals with excess coolness in their bodily systems.
(NOTE: Massage is compulsory for all even non-practitioner
