I have friend from Norway, his favourite Hungarian words are: cipőfűző, krumplipüré and tűzoltókészülék. I'm Hungarian, I have no favourite word. But I know that in Finnish "Elävä kala ui veden alla" means "Live fish swims underwater", because it's almost the same in Hungarian "Eleven hal úszik a víz alatt". Nobody says such thing in a conversation, but it's funny (and a scientific example of the relationship between Finnish and Hungarian languages). Have a good time over here, boys!

I really love this new œuvre, viz., the Budapest Chronicles. I think you all are doing fantastic work. Hungarian & Finnish are related languages, so different from so many other European languages. We saw the connection between the Finnish word for fish, ”kala” & the Hungarian word for fish, ”hal.” I know that I would love to learn Hungarian words from Nanook & Kirikou - plus also go along virtually on trips. I’d love to see Rabbit Island, in the river between Buda & Pest; see the thermal springs, Gellert?; Lake Balaton - is there fishing there?; how Hungarian pastry is made; other items of Hungarian cuisine ... Are the grandparents weirded out by the Hungarian language? Could they endure some Hungarian language instruction as long as there’s still some Finnish? Maybe a caption could read: Learn about the Fenno-Ugric Languages with a 4-year old & a 14-year old? 🥳 🥳 I hope you guys are having fun. About the hungarian language, being from Romania, the hungarian language is quite familiar to me even if I don't speak it. Like finnish, hungarian is a very difficult language, but I also understand certain words and can do enough to make an impression 😊 but why did I start studying Finnish? I don't know what others think about Finland, about the differences between night and day, and low temperatures, especially in winter when it is "KYLMÄ KUIN RYSSÄN HELVETISSÄ" 🥶 Yes. I want to move to Finland for a while. an artist from Romania, on her name Narcisa Miettinen Suciu, has been living in Finland for many years and has not complained. Well, since you didn't know what Kedvenc testvér means, I can tell you: it's my favourite sibling. I hope that someday you learn Hungarian and will speak it normally, you are quite good in it😇 and you are veryyy cute, I wish you good luck in learning Hungarian, it's a hard language to learn,but it's worth it🤓 and you have a good pronounciation,just take care for the "ty" sound. It's more likely to sound like when you say tube,the beginning,that 'tu' is kinda same. "gy" sound is pronounced like when you say "due" but the really first sound, that "d" is like "gy" . We don't actually say Denevérember we say Batman but for Spoderman we say pókember. Lánc means chain and fűrész means saw. Wait Kirikou hold your glasses steady beacase he said "Kedvenc testvérem" aka My favourite brother. Kedvenc means somthing you really like "Kedvenc étel"- my favourite food. You see we put the my in the end of the word as a suffix. Suffix - rag.
