Я думаю, що сенс останньої фрази в тому, що не завжди потрібно прагнути чогось кращого. Найкраще - ворог хорошого. Радійте з того, що у вас є і що ви можете. Будьте вдячні. Ось як це я розумію.

I watched this video with my laptop propped up on the kitchen counter, while making chocolate truffles ☺I really enjoyed it, the format is interesting and works well for me. I'll go back to it and write down each sentence to try and learn them all. I understood words from each and was able to guess the meaning of some of them, but the only sentence I understood completely was the one about feeling the taste of every moment - btw, in English "to savour" means "to feel the taste", so for me that sentence translates naturally into "Savour every moment". "to savour" has a connotation of concentrating on a taste (literally or figuratively), making the best of it: does the Ukrainian expression in that sentence have the same connotation? Thank you for your work. I really want to learn Ukrainian well and translate from it one day! When I'm feeling a bit more confident with the basics I'll buy that lesson pack you made with the TV series 😊Бережіть себе. Україна переможе 💙💛

"to savour" means "to feel the taste", interesting I didn't know that. probably it has the same root with the Spanish word 'saber' which also means 'to feel the taste'

@@slowukrainian Yes! In Italian, my other language, "sapore" simply means "taste, flavour". The English verb "to savour", however, has a strong emotional connotation, which is why it seems appropriate for translating that particular sentence. The adjective "savoury" has no emotional overtones whatsoever and simply indicates that a food or dish is not sweet: for example, if I told someone I would like a snack it would be natural to ask "Sweet or savoury?" Thanks for replying with an interesting point... we translators are language nerds 😁💙💛
