I created a text to help me learn those new expressions :) Thanks for the content ! This is great and very useful ! Last week, I hit the gym and ran into Serena. She told me she is going through depression. She feels like she’s stuck in a rut. Her boss is a real slave-driver and won’t ever listen to her. The last time she saw him, he lashed out at her because their game plan wasn’t dialed in on time, even though she was very dialed in during all their meetings. At that moment, it dawned on her that she would never win him over. This whole situation was such a catalyst for quitting. I really hope she will rise from the ashes like a phoenix. The fact that she quit is a milestone! Now, things can move forward organically. She should ride the momentum and get another job right away. By the way, it strikes me that the job David is offering could strike a chord with her. She’s killing it at those tasks. Besides, David is so much better than her former pseudo-competent boss. They will get along just fine. They will slay at those tasks and ride off into the sunset. No more waking up on the wrong side of the bed.

Thank you for the information you share in your videos; they are very helpful. I have a question: could you make videos explaining some of the most common linkings, assimilations and reductions that native speakers use when they talk to each other? It's not the same when you speak to us as learners; you speak slower and more paused, which helps us understand, but it gives us a false sense of security that becomes a ticking time bomb when we speak with natives who don't intend to speak slowly for our understanding. They might do it a couple of times, but the truth is, it gets boring when you can't speak at the speed you're accustomed to. Thank you! I like your videos, keep up the good work! 🙂
