jdstep97 ok that’s a great idea thanks I will def. check it out! Any idea if that website is good for complete beginners ? Or do you have to be at least conversational ?

I also recommend HelloTalk once you’re feeling conversational, they provide a social media type of aesthetic so you can make posts asking questions for others to answer and spark up conversations, there’s also a button to translate and to correct each other’s sentences so there’s no language barrier since most things can be translated!

Ozuna is one of my favorite artists to listen to while learning Spanish because he uses slang but he sings in a more neutral Spanish way. Of course he does cut some words here and there but for the most part he sings slow and clear.
4 жыл бұрын
yes, because Ozuna doesn't really rap so it will typically be slower. He has a cool flow most of the time.

[7:55] Frontear may be slang borrowed from Black American slang 'Front'. It means the same.

Im just so stuck on why is the phrase" le meto...and no LO meto"? In your example
4 жыл бұрын
We try to reason everything. Reasoning doesn't always work when learning a different language lol. Just know that this is what the phrase means in this case amiga. Think of the phrase "what's up?" To a non native English learner, that phrase is weird. They would probably think that it means literally "what is up" directionally, but it doesn't it means "hey how's it going." And they just have to accept it. Same applies here. Does that make sense?

4 жыл бұрын
@@destinyflowers3651 Now remember. This is mainly Caribbean, but others will understand due to the popularity of Caribbean Spanish, but yes. You have it correct except the first sentence is not subjunctive. If you said, me gusta QUE tú le metas..., that would have worked. But me gusta como is a fact so it's not subjunctive. And also "veo como le mete"

As a puertorrican, I hate this type of music, same as trap and reggaeton, it's just uses really foul language and things about sex, drugs and other types of thing that influence people into doing those things... but whatever, my opinion doesn't matter and won't matter because people will still do the same thing...
