I grew up with Finns in South Georgia and this is how they spoke english for sure. Add being somewhat intoxicated on their part and it could be a nightmare trying to understand them; it became a trilling gutteral mess. I never understood one word one particular uncle of mine ever said in english.

😂👍🏽 actually here in England we also have garage English- it is ALL the worst swear words, used inappropriately like in live interviews because the driver forgot how bad it is and that there is another way to say it. My sister’s boss was once stuck on his paperwork for a repair. She asked why, what’s wrong? “Well, the seatbelt’s f@#£&ed but I can’t write THAT!” Nobody ever says ‘broken’ in a garage 😂

Pidän todella 🇫🇮suomen kielestä 🙂 Finnish it is a difficult language but I want to learn it 😉 Yesterday and today I learned to count over 1000, the colors, the days of the week, the seasons and the weather, family members and extended family members. I didn't manage to remember the school subjects very well I remember that "Maantiede" means "Geography". "Maantiede", hmm...🤔 I like suomi much more than english. I never liked english 😣 but I had to learn it because it is spoken everywhere.

It reminds me Polish trying to speak English without any effort xD We also have "r" which is rolling, we don't have articles, we speak as it's written, we make similar mistakes with silent letters (which we don't consider as silent), we don't have many sounds which they have in English (like "th" sound)... However we have "w" sound, like in the word *wood* . We write it as "ł" (a crossed "l").

Oh dear, Kirikou’s father is fluent in ralli englanti. Kirikou had to concentrate on his pronunciation. These two have such dry humour delivered in a truly Finnish way. And kudos to the Finnish drivers who have spread this unique version of English around the world.

The more we speak English, the more it starts to sound like this. The Finnish mouth gets tired of twisting the tongue in the middle of the mouth. I go to art school and every year we have a residency artist from abroad. During the first week, everyone's English sounds great. From the second week on, the rallienglanti kicks in.
