i have always been told by my teacher that masculine will stay the same in this case with adjectives. i am confused! lol

What if the word ends with an ю,я,и,й,з,у,е ... ?

That's all I found: Я = Fem МЯ = Neu Й = Mas There's some other rules: Words ended by Я or А that denotes masculine things like папа(dad) are masculine. Imported words can be either masculine or feminine regardless of the last letter, but they're always what it is, like "меню" is and always will be masculine.

Tbh it makes more sense than portuguese which have no rule to distinguish feminine and masculine. Sofá = masculine Cadeira = feminine Pão = masculine Mão = feminine
