Your explanation of the various uses of 'de' is very clear. Thank you. English has a similar concept of 'de' (belonging to) eg The pages of the book. The tops of the mountains. The handle of the bag. The colour of the handbag. The smell of smoke. The cost of renovation. etc.

It's just these kind of lessons that I turn to you for my friend. I think this is so practical and immediately useful! These kinds.if words get us speaking Spanish quickly, I find. Incan always add the subjects and specific items later. But I'll be able to use "de eso" inmediatamente in so many situations! Thank you.

In English we say “stop talking”, in Spanish they say “dejar de hablar”. In English we use the gerunds of the verbs after “stop”, in Spanish they use the infinitives of the verbs after “dejar de”. 😊✌️

Other than the 2 verbs hablar and saber, are there any other verbs that we can use de to mean "about" ? For eg can we say “leer de socialismo”? Gracias.

If you need de as in 'es de Pablo' you don't need the personal a. You won't ever get to prepositions together.
