+ Sharon Raquel Hi Sharon, Firstly, You should practice your listening with spanish songs. There are many songs in Spanish which are sung slowly, these songs belong to the genre "Bolero" (they are romantic songs). So, you can understand them easily and increase your vocabulary at the same time.

Estoy de acuerdo con Jairo. Aprender con canciones es muy buena idea. También puedes ver algún canal de televisión. Poco a poco tu oído se va acostumbrando a entender una que otra palabra hasta que de repente entiendes la oración. Algo muy importante es que aprendas vocabulario. Entre más palabras sepas, más posibilidades tienes de entender lo que la gente dices. Saludos,

+Sharon Raquel Por tu comentario veo que vives rodeada de hispanohablantes de varios países, por lo que muchas veces aprender el slang en español te podría resultar un poco difícil ya que es muy extenso, y este varía de acuerdo al país. Tan solo en México hay un sin fin de palabras y expresiones con las que los mexicanos nos comunicamos diariamente, por ejemplo para decir "what's up!" nosotros podemos decir: "que onda", "que pedo", "que pex", "que hubo?", "que rollo?"....entre muchas otras palabras y expresiones. Ahora imagina aprender el slang del Salvador, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Argentina...etc.. te llevaría mucho tiempo, incluso para nosotros los hispanohablantes nos lleva tiempo aprender el slang de otros países. El consejo que te puedo dar es que primero te enfoques en incrementar tu vocabulario y sobre todo entender como conjugar los verbos del español. Como dijo la maestra Ana, esto te ayudará a comunicarte más fácilmente con cualquier hispanohablante de cualquier país. El slang lo vas a ir aprendiendo con el tiempo y la practica, claro y también con la frecuencia con la platiques y convivas con los diversos hispanohablantes. Ánimo! Practica mucho!

Im working on a lesson for my godson and i used a lot of ur videos along with where he is heading in duo lingo. And ive found im learning more in my own review and the refreshes are great.
