It boggles the mind that your videos don't have more views...?? Everything is straight forward and to the point, but also in-depth.

Haha, yeah, I wish they had more view too bEAST! Thanks for the comment and supporting the channel, man.

Hey Quanta, I'm amazed by the clarity and depth of these tutorial videos, thanks! They made me reconsider Studio One (I mainly use Reaper).

Hey, thanks for the comment, Carsten. It's nice to hear when folks appreciate the tutorials, as there is a lot of work that goes into making them! Thanks again and all the best!

OMGooooooosh I've been waisting my life using Reason for as long as I have, waiting for features like this to come to Kong or Redrum...even NN-XT or 19! As a hiphop producer this is right up my alley!! Great job going through these features. I bought a note pad just to take notes. I think I'm in

Glad you're diggin' the tutorials! Yeah, I'm actually a big fan of Reason but, like you, I'm just tired of waiting for simple changes to be implemented with things like Kong. Having multiple outs without dragging in a whole bunch of mix devices and also being able to manipulate my sample via a waveform on the front of kong would be incredibly helpful!

I guess someone can do a whole song just using the Impact XT on its own. Very nice tutorial Quanta.
@quantaaudio4 жыл бұрын
Indeed, you can.

how i drag the sample from impact to the playlist ?
@theanomaloushousewife8866 жыл бұрын
Very helpful video. Thank you for going so in-depth on the features of Impact XT. I'm wondering if you could cover how to use all of these features with a midi controller like Nektar Impact. Can it be set up to tweak the settings and how do you use the focus windows with your midi device?

Is there anyway to copy and paste from a different bank like a sound from Bank B to A for better organization?

Hey Quanta? How do I overdub drum parts in Impact XT? I recently started having problems after laying down a kick drum pattern and coming back to do a hi-hat or snare pattern, within the same the patch, the kick drum pattern is recorded over. How do I enable overdubs?

It would be nice if the pitch variable knob had incremental steps, that way you could program a bass sample to different notes. Then you could associate each individual bass note with the pads in the drum machine.
@quantaaudio6 жыл бұрын
It is incremental, in semi-tones. When you click and hold to make the adjustment there is a pop-up window that shows your adjustments. Using your mouse wheel also adjusts it in semitone steps. You could also double click in the parameter display window (far upper left corner of song page) and input values manually. You could also load the bass sample into a sample one device and it will automatically pitch the sample across your entire keyboard.

Tremendous work.Very precise tutorial and the pacing is perfect. Do you use Fl studio ASIO to record with OBS by the way ? Subbed .cheers
@quantaaudio6 жыл бұрын
Thanks much, Celio. I appreciate it. I actually just use Windows audio and capture that into OBS. It's fine for the most part, unless I need to do a tutorial where I'm actually recording MIDI, etc. Latency is a bit higher than I'd like...

can you macro change a sound on on the fly like in ableton? have like 128 bank macro changing your sound on your midi?
@quantaaudio6 жыл бұрын
Not sure about that, I never work with macros to be honest.
