@@jazensounds453 Given the effort and detail you put into these videos, I think I speak on behalf of the community to say - it's fine if you take your time releasing these. Quality over quantity. We are all learning stuff from this series that is NO WHERE to be found on youtube. Thank you immensely for sharing your secret sauce with us. Sending an extreme amount of gratitude and gnarly vibes your way.

hello...something i don't understand. When decomposign a sound in signal spectrum, we have to take account their frequencies but also their phases. Where are the phases in "span" ? I can't see them. But phase anaylsis is a much important than their frequencies and changing a phrase on a certain frequency can make a sound wave totally different. I don't know then how we can anaylyse a sound only with their frequency spectrum.

As you've said in other videos, it's hard to find good sound design tutorials on KZbin. I think you've found a lane of success with this series, keep it up. We're learning a lot, and I know I'm not the only one who appreciates the amount of effort you put into these videos. Thank you!

ok now i'm watching and i absolutely love how you're so in depth (without being tiring) about the perception of sound itself and not just jumping straight to what a synth can do. i mean it when i say i really love this series and will be patiently watching til the end even if it's about something i assume i already know

Good stuff! Enjoyed the video! Thought I'd point out that, typically, the harmonics for both saw and square are at 1/n amplitude (n being the number of the harmonic), rather than "equal" amplitude as stated in the video.

Sine Waves for the win. I wish I had video's like this when I first began to learn Music production. Would of saved me so much time and frustration. The info was out there. But never this concise. And no where near this level of production value. This series is legit. Great Work Jazen!

а из какой волны лучше делать духовые пресеты в синтезаторе? я например делал флейту из белого шума, но можно ли сделать пресет флейты из какой-то формы волны? из какой? and from what wave is it better to make wind presets in a synthesizer? For example, I made a flute from white noise, but is it possible to make a flute preset from some kind of waveform?
