Love every second of this video. 🃏 Sometimes I think about a court jester when looking at the Fool. The figure that no one takes seriously and that therefore can move in and around the castel and whisper uncomfortable truths in the Kings ear. The one who dares say it like it is, without fear of being beheaded. There can be hidden power in being ridiculed.

My favorite thing about The Fool is how from the beginning he is never really alone. He has his faithful pup or familiar even with him to support him wether he flies or wether he falls. It’s just an affirmation for me that we always have our higher self and our Spiritual bestie. Also I absolutely adore your outfit and found great joy in listening to your perception and interpretation of this enlightening card.

I look at the fool as someone who is constantly putting himself in the position of the student, like a zen teacher would. You're always new, the situation is new, you are not the same as before. Look at the moment with a fresh perspective, without assumptions. Empty teacup is the way to go. Head held high, confident, ready to see what presents itself.

Your comments about the potential for selfishness really made me stop and think; that rings very true for me. Thank you. I love the image of The Fool in the Wild Unknown Tarot; apart from anything else, it was that card that really first taught me to recognise and respect the different nuances that each deck brings with it. Having said that, it would make me nervous to see myself as *quite* as vulnerable as that duckling when I’m in Fool mode!

I shuffled my deck this morning and the Fool was on the bottom of the deck. I didn't even pull any other cards - that was all the confirmation I needed. I have definitely been waiting around trying to come up with the perfect plan so that I can make sure everything turns out "right", but really I'm just too scared to start.

I never liked The Fool and never connected with the card, which is weird....now, as I'm watching this video again, I am realizing it has a lot of qualities that I have or like in others: optimism, an open mind, bravery, tolerance of uncertainties, etc...maybe I'll sit with that for a bit and reflect on what about it I don't like. One thing I don't like about it is that to me it represents being rash and careless...but maybe it's the perfectionist in me talking!

One thing the fool always reminds me of is to have Beginner's Mind. Whatever I do - to try to stay new to it, to assume I don't know everything, or sometimes that I don't know anything! On the subject of the companion animal - I think of this as our animal nature which has an instinct for the path to choose - that we need to trust our animal self to help us, to be able to use the senses not available to our human consciousness to figure things out. And sometimes that companion animal is just that - the animal that will accompany us and love us through our journey - dog, cat, horse or other real world beloved animal friend, or animal spirit companion from our shamanic wanderings. I'm so excited that you are doing this tarot series - I love your angle on magikal stuff and look forward to your insights and opinions on the tarot.

Watched the whole thing, and it was everything I knew it would be! One thing often find myself thinking about with this card is the idea of the Fool being a way of entering new situations without prejudice or expectation. The Fool isn't always inexperienced or unaware or immature, but is open to the unexpected and unconventional. I once heard you use the expression "should-ing all over myself" and it's this element of expectation that the Fool leaves behind.

The fool is always interesting to me because he comes with Schema and that informs the journey. Even when its not a forethought type of informing. And sometimes as the fool we ugnore that schema and the instincts it helped hone, choosing instead folly because The Fool wants to be right or avoid facing the disregulation that comes from being wrong. It reminds me its okay to play. And sometimes I am going to make myself uncomfortable. But thats okay. Its how journey and growth begin.
