You need absolutely crazy physical chops to march DCI these days. Aren't there sections of 180BPM 32nd note rolls in this book!? Those fours are also crazy...

Ah, I'm glad I played middle horns in corps, because these rudiments are a mind cluck. Although, paying attention to the battery and understanding what they were doing from a rudimentary perspective helped me when I got behind the kit in a post punk/alternative band and later pick up writing on the piano. That's what training and performing in drum corps did to me musically. Thanks for his channel, it's incredibly informative--you're a good teacher!
