This is my third time watching this video since it was posted awhile back. I pickup more jewels everytime. This time the part about communicating with my partner stood out, b/c I recently ran the play & my partner had no clue what I was doing & was lost in the play as to what they should do. Even though the play was successful & we won the game. afterward he was talking to me about watching our spacing b/c I would come over on "his side". I told him I was just getting to the kitchen & being aggressive. It wasn't until later that I realized that he may not know I was using the shake & bake. And what we need to do is practice the play during drilling to learn the execution & defense as you demonstrated in this video. Many thanks.

This is the first video I see that goes into details the correct way to Shake n' Bake and Bash and Crash. This is what bangers do a lot. I think the main key to the success of shake n' bake is the quality of the drive. The Drives needs to be one or two inches above the net and dipping fast. I think with lots of practice this high risk shot can be very consistent. Excellent video keep up the good work!

Sending these videos to my brother who just played pickleball for the first time yesterday. Thank you for some of the best vids out. Also, my favorite part of this vid is at 1:47. However, I'm sure it is not yours. 😅 Anyways, cheers. You keep doing you.

Thanks for this Video, great detail, best explanation of the Shak&Bake ! Another video you can do is Stacking, why and how to do it, how the score determines when you stack. When score is odd you stack is one way to help you know when to stack. When stacking where should you return your drives or drops when serving, I’ve heard down the line, but would like a comprehensive strategy.

Can the person driving also be the person who bakes? In other words, can I do a solo shake and bake? In some ways, it feels like this could sometimes be easier since I, as the driver, will have a more intuitive sense of whether the drive is good enough.

Yes that’s called the crash but very similar !!

Also, big top spin makes the ball come up off the paddle when they volley it.

Did any other league of legends players catch the pings at 2:18? I looked for my mini map when I heard it.

I thought the ball only needs to bounce on each side once before you can hit it out of the air.

That's my understanding of the rules as well.

Double bounce rule. Can't hit out if the air in initial return.

all my life I thought that if two opponents are standing at the net, then you shouldn’t use the drive, and you should drop / dink the ball
