Best move for White puzzle: 1. Bb5+! Bxb5 2. Rxd5! exd5 3. Qe5+! Kd7 4.Rc7+ Qxc7 5. dxc7 Rae8 6. Qxd5+ Kxc7 7. Be5+ Rxe5 8. Qxe5+ And White has a winning position. From here if Black tries to protect his bishop with 8. ...Kc6 or 8. ...Kb6 he looses his rook after 9. Qc5+ and if he ignores his bishop he simply loses it, giving White an easily won endgame. Note that after 7. Be5+ if Black doesn´t play 7. ...Rxe5 he gets mated or loses material. There are two scenarios: 1. 7. ...Kb6 8. Qd6+ Bc6 9. Qc5+ Ka6 10. Qa5# 2. 7. ...Kc8 8. Qxb5 And here White´s position is so overwhelming that mate would probably follow if Black doesn´t play 8. ...Rxe5 and if he plays that to prevent mate he gives White and easily won endgame. Now Stockfish give me a kiss and a hug (not of the deadly kind ;) ) for being your devoted fan and student. ;)

Wow. I've been faced as Black with the King's Gambit often lately, so this is timely and useful information.

You are Correct but your notations are not Good. It should be like 1) Bb5+ Bxb5 2) Rxd5 exd5....

12:43 I have not calculated everything but Bb5 looks promising. Maybe a R sac for the N aswell to open up, push the P and/or bring in the black B.

I found be5 bxd1, bb5+ Qd2 only move, Rc2 NxC2, Qf6 and I can't see a way to stop mate on the next move.

I like the potential sacrifice with Bf5... black takes, Qe5. Black doesn't take, Bishop takes ... pretty straight forward from there ... not sure? I'm a very low elo ;) think it works?
