@xbluebells I felt the same way when I was confronted with a math problem, embarrassing and yes the teachers back then where I’m from NJ really didn’t explain the (why) or maybe I was just hard to teach anyway I failed math. So now I’m a table games dealer in LV and work with simple math , oh well! Lol life’s funny isn’t it! You’re an excellent teacher!

I am much younger (in my 20s) but studying a medical degree and It is so heartwarming to see these comments because I completely agree! I focused a lot on getting the grades but in some subjects neglected the understanding, because it made me anxious. Now I am becoming comfortable with not understanding and enjoying learning. But it is so inspiring to see others who have this experience and are not afraid to learn anew! God bless you!

Sir could you tell me why does not current decrease when passing through the resistor

Physically, it is because the material the resistor is made of doesn't have as many free electrons in the valence shell of the atoms. This means that the electrons have a harder time jumping from one atom to the next, which means that less current can flow. In a metal, which is a good conductor, the valence electrons move freely, which means that it is easier for electrons to move from one atom to the next. There is then less resistance in a metal. @@MathAndScience i am very glad to know that you have cleared .i wish you could also teach me the meaning and of units that what they actually mean for ex -if say that the force is 5newton then it mean that force that generated is equal to 5kgm/sec but same case i want to know with power work and energy that what they actually mean by their units because force to define it we have taken another approach to define it mathematically

@@harishkothari7441 Its important to remember that units are just human inventions. Their meaning is only what we have defined for each unit. For example, what is 1N of force? Well, physically, remember that F=ma, so 1N = (1kg)(1 m/s^2). This means that 1N is DEFINED to be the force needed to move a 1kg mass at an acceleration of 1 m/s^2. Then you can go down this hole deeper. What is a kg? What is a second? What is a meter? You can look up the definitions of those but you get the idea. Units are only what we define them to be.

Sir my last question to you is that why the number of zero depends upon the power of x .and in quadratic equation if some value are imaginary then we say that is isn't the zero of the equation but imaginary numbers have some value. Which could convert the equation to zero .. then why we say that imaginary numbers is not zero of equation ...

@@harishkothari7441 We don't say that a imaginary zero of a quadratic equation is not a solution, we say it is a complex or imaginary solution. There are many equations which only have a imaginary zero. If a real solution exists then the real solution will almost always be used instead of the imaginary one. As for degree of polynomials deciding number of zeros it has I dont have a super satisfactory answer but heres a way to see it A polynomial with degree n will have n zeros because it has n factors because z×z is happening n times and we can write that as ( z-a) (z+b) depending on power of n and equate it to zero giving us n factors.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’ve always had a hard time understanding why you can look at division in both of those ways: either by dividing the original number, or by imaging how many times the divisor can fit into the original number. I know they result in the same answer, I just can’t figure out why exactly!
