In this lesson, you will learn how to perform long vision on two decimals, and also use multiplication to check your answer. In order to perform decimal division, we use the same long division process with the main exception that we must keep track of the decimal position in the final answer. Also, we are allowed to add trailing zeros as needed as those don't affect the number value. We continue the process until the remainder is zero or the decimal pattern of the answer begins to repeat.

40 year adult here! For some reason I struggle remembering some of this basic stuff, and I decided to brush up. Feeling a lot more confident after watching these, and doing some practice. THANKS!

Dividing by a decimal is like rationalising the denominator with a radical term. 10/0.1=10.0/0.1=100/1 =100.

Note: when he said everything moves to the right he meant left. When u move it to the right it gets smaller, but we are multiplying, so the numbers need to get larger. So it means that you have to move each digit to the left instead of the right.

Hello, can u plz explain one more thing 14:28min and 17:57. Y we give gab between 3 and decimal ? Y no write 3 just beside decimal? Plz make video on Distance, time and temperature.

There is a space between the 3 and decimal because 22 won't fit into 6, but will fit into 69, three times. Therefore, the 3 goes above the 9 (in 693.0) leaving a space between the number and the decimal. The same is true for your second question. I hope this helps.

All due respect decimals don't move digits do. A decimal is a fixed position in which digits move around it.
