Honestly I HAVE to say THANK YOU, once I was watching this exact video and trying I couldn't roll for S#@T, so I decided to do something on my trampoline. I was doing flips for like 5 minutes, then I tried a front flip and I span WAY too fast in the air and when I tried to land I DIVED forward and went off the tramp. But then, I did a SICK safety roll before I killed myself. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Part of the story may have been hyperbolic;)

Great way to reduce impact and momentum when you jump over obstacles or even trip over objects. To reduce injury to the shoulder use the unbendable arm (has a slight bend). The idea is to not collapse the arm and the impact is evenly dispersed from the hands to the arms, shoulder and diagonally across the back. This prevents serious shoulder injuries and when you tuck in the chin it prevents your head from hitting the ground. I'm not trying to criticize, mock, demean or say anything bad in any way, shape or form. I'm simply adding more information to the video to help others with injury prevention. The explanation this individual gave in rolling is excellent, keep up the good work!

Probably a silly question, but your outfit seems pretty clean. How would you go about keeping grass stains out of clothing if practicing rolls on grass? Or should an old/less important shirt and pair of pants be worn?
@AkiHau10 жыл бұрын
Usually you should wear baggy and comfortable sweatpants for parkour. And also a shirt that you can move in freely. Don't put your most fancy clothes on just for parkour and freerunning, because you are going to get stains and dirt on them. And I know I'm not Ronnie, but I just wanted to tell you some important things.
@JoshuaPlays_9610 жыл бұрын
I appreciate your knowledge!
@AkiHau10 жыл бұрын
Youre welcome :)
@MrAlexc199810 жыл бұрын
What I noticed by watching him do his rolls carefully was that if you want avoid hitting your shoulder, you should give yourself a small jump from the top of your feet when you land and dive into a roll (yes the roll has a dive motion before balling up). This gives you abit more of momentum and helps you avoid hitting your shoulder and rolling on your shoulder blade but don't do a massive jump where you frontflip and land on your back but instead a small leap dive.
