It's a mentality borne of building your brand and caring about your reputation. He knows their reputation is low-cost, delicious, beverages. He's smart enough not to sacrifice that brand for a short term profit. Hopefully he has a side gig consulting other businesses.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Vultaggio at a function, I was immediately impressed because I have been drinnking that tea for so long. Although he is wildly successful, you wouldnt know it because he wont tell you that. He is as down to earth as they come, I think he thinks like that because he is a man who never had anything handed to him. He worked hard to build his company up and do right by his customers and his workers. That is why he is well respected not only by business people, but by customers and his workers. He joked around a lot, it didnt feel like you were talking to a co-founder of a billion dollar company like Arizona Tea. It was just like talking to a normal friend. I liked that quality about the guy. I think it comes from him driving a truck and so he knows what the average consumer feels, he's been there. I would describe him as a humble man of integrity and a well respected gentlemen.

We need more CEOs and companies with his mindset. They are adding value to consumers and taking care of employees over mountains of profit. Don't get me wrong, companies should make a profit, and they need to make a profit to stay in business and remain competitive, but at what cost? I'm not asking for handouts, but if two people work 40 - 60 hours a week in a household, adding value to companies, they shouldn't struggle to support daily life necessities with modest and reasonable wants. I never had Arizona tea, but I approve of his message. We need more companies to follow his lead.
