Simply Amazing my dad is my Filipino parent :) and he was never around to teach me it and when he was, he told me he never really learned it so he couldn't teach me it. But yeah, I see what you mean. If I saw my extended family on my dads side more often, I would probably ask them for help

With all the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), Filipino could become an international language in time. Can you imagine if the household service workers in Hong Kong spoke to the kids there in Filipino, or if the the workers in the middle east spoke it to their fellow workers, or if the nurses all over the world talk it to their fellow workers, or if the seafarers spoke it to their foreign fellow seafarers...?
