It seems to me that I am good at keeping the ball and dribbling, but not at beating players. Just for more description, what I mean is that when I have the ball on the wing, I can run up the field and get the ball in attack from defense. Or I take the ball in midfield and I can run laterally diagonally into space with good overall proximity control. I can throw the ball up the court, but I rarely, if ever, beat defenders. Advices ?

Thanks for the question! You may need to work on some moves you can use to beat defenders 1v1 like a stepover that you can add to your game. I have a couple other videos going over how to different types of stepovers and the fake shot that are some moves you may want to use to start beating defenders more consistently. Let me know what you think about that and if you have any other questions!

Yes you definitely can…you can use a change of pace and body feints to beat defenders as well, not just moves. I don’t have a video on body feints yet but it involves using your body and faking as if you’re going one way and getting the defender off balance and then quickly going in a different direction…some players like Messi and ousmane dembele are really good at this so maybe watch some highlights of them if you’re not familiar with the technique…and in the future I’ll be putting out a video giving a step by step breakdown on body feints so stay tuned for that as well…hope that’s helpful!
