Also, I love the whole braille team and have been watching you Aaron the most for a long time and have been helping me skate for years. When I learned to skate KZbin wasn't a thing I feel like these tutorials would've helped alot! The closest thing I had was Jeremy wray's "starting point" how to video which was better than nobody helping but that wasn't nearly as detailed as some of these braille tutorials.. I think that's awesome for new skaters

Hello Braille and fellow Army members! I've been interested in skating ever since I was a kid but never got into it. Then I found Braille a few years ago and have been watching for years now and it got me thinking should I start? Though I just brushed that question off, However within the last 2 weeks I have seriously contempted it. So I have some questions for y'all 1) Should I go through with starting? 2) How much should your first board set up cost you? 3) What makes skating important to you/why do you love it? 4) what keeps you wanting to do it more? 5) why'd you start skating? Thanks to any of you who answer my questions :)

So I just started skating about a month ago, after not skating for 12 years. I’m 29. ReLearned kickflips, heelflips, fs/bs shuvs and 180’s. Anyways, a bout a week ago, my inner thigh/hip (where my man parts meet my leg) on my front leg started hurting a lot. It feels like the tendon. I can walk/run with no pain, but doing any tricks is out of the question. Can’t even Ollie cus it hurts. Anyone else have this problem? If so how can I prevent from happening again, and how long does it take to go away? Thank you in advance 🙏🏼
@cptRenko5 жыл бұрын
Can you do stretches? I mean does it hurt when you're trying to stretch your hips and legs? You need to do stretches before you go to skate if you want to prevent that problem from happening again
@dceasedtbc5 жыл бұрын
cptRenko yea man I can stretch no problem. It hurts to do butterfly stretches for like a second but then the pain goes away. It’s just painful when I try to do tricks.
@cptRenko5 жыл бұрын
@@dceasedtbc Okay keep doing stretches for your hips, hamstrings and try to do them slowly so it doesn't hurt as bad. It looks like you pulled your muscle or something like that, so be careful not to make it worse

Imo you should practice skating switch before trying 180s. Practice pushing and rolling switch so it's comfortable and not slippery feeling (for want of a better description).

When every time u watch his vids and people say Aaron and u start looking around like someone’s calling u😂
@Unbelievable475 жыл бұрын
I like this series but I dont agree with doing tricks in certain order. I can only do backside 180's nollie or switch (no pivot) I will eventually learn to do it in my regular stance but nollie & switch is coming to me easier & I've only been skating for year & half. I suggest for new skaters to try all the basic trick in all the stances to see is more comfortable than the other.
